Deicorp was extremely proud to join the Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon Anthony Albanese as he officially opened the new Petersham RSL Club today.
The new 3,500m2 club was delivered by Deicorp as part of our 199-apartment project - The Siding.
Prime Minister Albanese kindly cut the ribbon, unveiled the plaque and gave a moving speech about the important role RSL clubs like Petersham play in serving the needs of the community and veterans.
Deicorp was delighted to partner with Petersham RSL’s Board, members and their CEO to deliver this wonderful community facility. The new club is already proving to be extremely popular with the members and local community who have embraced the opportunity to come together in such a welcoming community venue.
We’re proud of the role we played in delivering this fantastic community facility, and this work builds on our previous partnerships with numerous other community groups including the Redfern RSL, the Polish Club in Ashfield and the Aboriginal Housing Company in Redfern.
