Greater Western Sydney's urban renewal continues with Highline development

The Greater Western Sydney region has been undergoing major transformation for many years. Plans are now well underway to turn the area into a ‘world class innovation district’, and the renewal project is moving forward with help from Sydney’s construction leaders. Deicorp is contributing to this exciting period of change with a new luxury residential development, Highline, in the heart of it all.

Urban renewal in Sydney’s vibrant west

Major developers like Deicorp are working with major universities and the NSW Government to transform Westmead into a thriving hub for healthcare, research, education, and business.

Westmead in particular is a focus for investment thanks to its unrivalled level of accessibility, with access to the soon to be completed Parramatta Light Rail, the existing Western Sydney Rail and the upcoming $25 billion Sydney Metro West. The Metro will connect Westmead with the Bays Precinct, Burwood Pyrmont, Sydney Olympic Park,  and Parramatta. And the new Light Rail will link directly with key recreation destinations and the Parramatta CBD.

“Our Highline project is providing great quality apartments in the heart of a thriving new precinct right on the doorstep of more than 35,000 jobs.” Fouad Deiri, founder and Chairman of Deicorp stated.

“The project has been immensely popular with many of the essential workers based in Westmead’s health and research precincts.” Mr Deiri added.

Highline Westmead

As the desirability of Sydney’s west continues to grow, demand for comfortable, spacious, and affordable accommodations is also rising. Apartment developers are working to deliver desirable new homes that meet the needs of today’s home buyers.

One such development is Highline Westmead, offering a collection of one, two, and three-bedroom designer apartments. Highline is regarded as one of the best new projects for those looking to build a life in Sydney’s vibrant west. Design by famed architectural firm Turner Studio, and constructed by award-winning builder Deicorp, Highline brings resort-style luxury to Sydney’s new hub of innovation.

In total, more than 550 have been built with 80% already sold.

The new apartments on Maple Tree Road in Westmead; a suburb that’s at the heart of the urban renewal project. A dedicated Government initiative, the Westmead Place Strategy, plans to continue transforming this area into 2036, giving it a central role in the future of Sydney’s west.

The future of Westmead

Already home to one of the largest health precincts in the world, and five high-ranking schools, Westmead possesses a solid foundation upon which to grow. This makes it a natural choice for Deicorp, and other retail building developers keen to maximise the value of Greater Western Sydney.

Westmead is located 26km west of the Sydney CBD, and numerous new development projects, such as the Westmead Innovation Quarter, are already well underway. These developments are expected to continue drawing students, families, and young professionals to the area with new opportunities.

For Deicorp, Sydney is bursting with potential. And they’re proud to be investing in the future of both Westmead and the Greater Western Sydney region. With the Government on a mission to solidify Parramatta as Sydney’s ‘Central River City’, Deicorp are thrilled to be part of this exciting project.

“The appeal of Westmead is the incredible transport infrastructure that links residents with the second CBD in just 3 minutes and Sydney CBD in 25 minutes”. Mr Fouad Deiri said.

“Combined with jobs and the great quality of life, Westmead is the new hotspot for professionals and young families who want to be close to everything.” Mr Deiri added.

Transforming the west

Westmead is set to be the epicentre of the west’s ongoing development. However, it is not the only suburb within Sydney’s Greater Western metropolitan area that Deicorp is keen to invest in.

The construction experts have undertaken a number of exciting projects across the Hills Shire, including those at Rouse Hill, Castle Hill, and Tallawong. Together with Highline, these projects are set to enhance urban renewal initiatives across the region, and draw more people to this hotspot of science, technology, and innovation. In Sydney, tomorrow’s landscape begins in the west.

“We have been overwhelmed with the strong interest in our Highline project.” Mr Deiri said.

“And given the great design, the superb location and incredible amenity, it’s not surprising.” Deicorp Founder Mr Fouad Deiri concluded.
